Philadelphia, PA – September 2024—The Cosmotro Corporation unveils its plans to produce an unprecedented event: Philadelphia Music Week, an annual week-long event held in the Greater Philadelphia Region. The music industry has changed over the last ten years due to increased high-speed internet usage and smart product innovations. Therefore, music industry professionals and musicians had to rethink conventional ways of marketing their products and develop fresh ideas to address the new generation of tech-savvy music listeners.

“Today, most consumers have multiple smart devices (phones, electronic book readers, web pads, etc.) to access music. These devices use some form of Wi-Fi, mobile network, and internet connection,” says Mark Wallace, Operations Manager of Cosmotro’s Productions. “The qualifications for media and content distribution are changing daily, and those musicians and industry leaders who do not conform will have a disadvantage in the marketplace.”

Beginning March 4, 2024, Philadelphia Music Week will help musicians receive added promotions through online blogs and profiles. For the next 12 months, the organization will host several events around the city leading up to the Premiere event in Fall 2024, the official Philadelphia Music Week, a week-long series of seminars and live music performances.
